Origin and principles

Kung Fu Toa was elaborated in Iran at the end of the sixties by professor Ebrahim Mirzaii. He was an expert in different martial arts and studied human energy's physiology (see Chinese and Indian traditional medicine). Energy is a fundamental concept: punches and kicks' efficacy does not depend on physical power only, but mainly on the skill of consciously controlling one's body's movements, on a proper respiration and on the skill of recognizing and guiding one's energetic flow (chi or qi) into its own channels (or meridians).

Kung Fu Toa in Italy

Kung Fu Toa reaches Italy in 1995 thanks to Beyrume Gabriele Antonini who, in 1997, founds the association for sport and culture “Kung Fu Toa”. G. Antonini learns this martial art by different teachers.
The aim of “Kung Fu Toa” association is to spread this martial art through teachings, stages, production of didactic books and videos, public demonstrations.
Nowadays in Italy there are four active temples, one located in Trieste, one in Udine and two in the province of Rome.
